Go!ForGerman is happy to accompany you on your way to study in Germany.
Our intensive and semi-intensive courses are ideal preparation for studying or training in Germany.
In order to be admitted to study at a German university, German language skills at level C1 are required. Applicants can provide this evidence, for example, with the following exams or certificates: Telc C1, Telc C1 (university), TestDaF or DSH. In addition, some other certificates at C1 level are also accepted by universities in Germany.
As a rule, the vast majority of foreign applicants study in their home countries up to level B1 or B2 and then travel to Germany with a visa for study purposes. Before doing this, they have to register in a language institute in their future university town in Germany and present their registration certificate when applying for a visa. In many countries it is also possible to apply for a visa without prior knowledge of German or only with an A1 or A2 level. This means that you have to take more German courses in Germany before you can register for the appropriate exam at C1 level.
We strongly recommend that you take German courses while you are still in your home country, if possible up to level A2 or B1. If you need support in finding a preparatory German course in Germany, we can put you in touch with one of our partner institutes.
