I want to work in Germany

The Federal Republic of Germany has introduced a 6-month job search visa for many countries. You can obtain more information about the possibilities and

requirements from a German diplomatic mission in your home country. With this visa you can enter Germany, take additional language courses here and introduce yourself to employers and apply. As a rule, you should be able to demonstrate a B2 level when applying. We recommend that you complete at least courses up to level B1 in your home country as preparation so that you can use your limited time in Germany effectively.

Another note: Many foreign applicants find that German language skills also play an important role in English-speaking companies in Germany. Even if it is said that only English is spoken at work, it often looks different in reality, as German is often used in certain situations. In addition, knowledge of German is of great importance for all social contacts at work and in your free time. We therefore recommend that you acquire basic knowledge in your home country before you start working in Germany and then take other courses in Germany in addition to your work.
